With NAKIVO Backup & Replication you can easily back up and replicate entire VMware VMs on schedule or ad hoc, both locally over LAN and offsite over (a slow) WAN. The product supports applications and databases running inside VMs (such as Exchange, Active Directory, SQL, and so on), so VM backups and replicas are always consistent. You can save up to 1,000 recovery for VM backups and up to 30 – for VM replicas. Using GFS retention scheme, recovery points can be rotated on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
NAKIVO Backup & Replication enables you to instantly run (boot) VMs directly from compressed and deduplicated VM backups. This way you can recover your VMs within seconds, without waiting for a full restore from backup files. You can also choose a recovery point and instantly browse, search, and recover files, Microsoft Exchange objects, and Microsoft Active Directory objects directly in the product’s web interface. All the features are agentless and work out-of-the-box for all VM backups.
NAKIVO Backup & Replication is purely agentless, can be installed on Windows or Linux, and has a simple and intuitive web interface. To save time and boost performance, all jobs are forever incremental, Changed Block Tracking quickly identifies what data has changed since the last run, network acceleration increases data transfer speed, multi-threading enables processing multiple tasks simultaneously, while direct SAN support delivers ultra-fast transfer speeds, global data deduplication and compression efficiently reduce data size.
